David Hosts Cardano Summit
October 21, 2024As one of the biggest events in the cryptocurrency calendar, the Cardano Summit brings together industry leaders and businesses.
David was delighted to once again be asked to host and emcee the Cardano Summit 2023. This summit brings together Cardano ecosystem projects and blockchain enthusiasts for networking and connecting with a new generation of innovative projects.
Having previously worked with the organisation to host its 2022 event in Switzerland, and in attendance were some of the leading lights and experts in the field of cryptocurrency – not just on the user side but also in governance and legislation and regulation.
The Grand Hyatt hotel in Dubai was chosen as the location for the 2023 Summit with more than 500 guests in attendance. As a city, Dubai is seen as one of the leading destinations and geographies for investing in not just where cryptocurrency is today but where it’s going in the future.
David led all the daytime preliminary sessions before hosting that evening’s awards and as always his role was to bring the event together and ensure it continued to move with energy and pace. As an experienced international host, David helps to make the speakers’ jobs that little bit easier by ensuring the audience are warmed up, leaning in and ready to listen. His job is to make sure that the messages land with clarity, with brevity and with impact and it’s a role he takes seriously, while ensuring the audience have fun.
David supported Cardano at the entire event by creating social media video content, by being live and present on stage throughout and making sure that everything went off without a hitch.
The Cardano Summit 2023 recognised all of the great innovators and trailblazers in the cryptocurrency space – those that are investing in the future and also making cryptocurrency a powerful force in the future of global finance.
David said: “It was a busy few days of constantly being on stage, re-scripting and rewriting scripts and recording pieces to camera and videos for their online and social media presence as well as running the event live but it was also a real career highlight to be able to host an event at the Dubai Fountain. It was easily one of the most spectacular events I’ve ever had the pleasure of attending.
“The audiences are geniuses in their field and so passionate about cryptocurrency. They were engaged, so enthusiastic and an absolute pleasure to host.”
